Sometimes, presenting a large list of links to files can be time-consuming and fiddly. We've added a function to Vanilla that allows you to present a listing of files within any directory under your main content folder. To achieve this, you simply add the following tag to your page's content from the WYSIWYG editor:
[directory :content/image] (without any space after the word directory and before the colon)
In the following example we've created a new folder and upload a few images to it. The title is automatically generated from your directory name. Sub-directories within your target folder are not processed. The output is seen below.
This feature also forces a download - instructing the user's browser to always download and save the file on their computer as opposed to reading it immediately or loading it into the browser.
